XIX WORLD SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS (WSC) St. Petersburg,
28 November 2025
Topic: “Modern Science: Structure and System”
The 19th World Scientific Congress (WSC) will be held on 28 November 2025 at the St. Petersburg Governor’s Hall, dedicated to exploring the structuring of modern scientific knowledge, its systemic nature, and its role in strengthening a world without violence. Organised under the auspices of the international scientific community, the Congress will bring together leading researchers, philosophers, and practitioners from different countries to discuss fundamentally new approaches to understanding science as a holistic system that unites material and spiritual principles.
The President of the Congress is Prof. Santhi P. Jayasekera. The event will host numerous professors representing universities and research institutions from multiple countries, creating a rich environment for international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Congress Programme and Key Presentations
The programme reflects the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary scientific challenges. Key presentations include:
- Contemporary Science: Structure and System in the Light of the Philosophy of Interaction (PI)
- Noospheric Union of Civilisations
- The COVID-19 Pandemic: A Systemic Approach to Treatment
- Breakthrough Technologies in Gerontology: Biotrons
- The Theory of Strong Thinking
Special attention will be paid to the problem of life and death, which, according to PI, requires a comprehensive approach. Speakers will present data showing that life is a constant interaction between material and spiritual principles, while death is a transition from “Being” to “Otherness,” a special spiritual reality. These ideas are directly related to ethical discussions about abortion, artificial intelligence, and medical technologies.
The Congress emphasises that science cannot remain neutral in the context of wars and conflicts. While scientific discoveries are initially aimed at creation, their military applications contradict the very nature of science. At the centre of discussions is the experience of Mahatma Gandhi and the concept of Satyagraha (non-violence as persistence in truth), which experts note requires interaction and dialogue rather than passive resistance.
Research on spiritual energy is becoming increasingly relevant. Reports will highlight how the systematic suppression of the spiritual element in society leads to social unrest and material destruction. The scientific community is called upon to maintain a balance between material and spiritual aspects in politics, economics, and education.
Another focus will be the role of Artificial Intellect in scientific progress. While AI advances data processing, it cannot convey the nuances and figurative meaning of human language. Practical examples, such as translations of works by M. Sholokhov and I. Turgenev, demonstrate that living human consciousness remains irreplaceable. AI, however, can become a powerful tool if developed in line with the FV, strengthening spiritual principles through algorithms.
The 19th WSC goes beyond academic discussion, offering practical solutions to global problems:
- Strengthening peace through science rather than diplomatic deals
- Integrating spiritual and material aspects in medicine, economics, and education
- Developing new areas (cybernetics, bionics) where the interaction of principles becomes the methodological basis
The Congress emphasizes that modern science is not a collection of isolated branches but a unified system where each discipline contributes to a common purpose. As President of the Congress Prof. Santi P. Jayasekera notes:
“The activities of the World Science Congress represent freedom without dogmatic boundaries,” allowing participants to rethink the structure of science, its place in society, and its role in shaping the future.
